Notes: Saw 3 queens outside a nest, and a small swarm of southern fire ants. May be s. invicta, but I’m pretty sure they were s. xyloni.

Notes: 77 degrees F, post thunder storm.. UV lights on white rug in back yard. Saw 5 queens, caught 4, one not fertilized, three queens kept.
