Notes: The flight was moderate. I presume that it is the first queens going out and in the next days, there will be the massive nuptial flight of this species. It has been a warm day (above 26C) and relatively humid but storms are about to happen from tomorrow. Today at 20:00h, many unwinged queens were moving on the ground looking for new location. Also workers from the nests were very active, moving cocoons within the nests. |
